Situated on a 3.5 acre block in the idyllic Perth Hills, Inn Mahogany Creek is less than thirty-five kilometers away from the CBD but offers a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's access to the Great Eastern Highway makes it both easy to get to, and gives guests the opportunity to explore the nearby town of Mundaring – with its quaint coffee-shops and the award winning Little Caesars Pizza restaurant.
The historic town of York which can be reached in around forty-five minutes and hosts festivals for arts & crafts, jazz and antiques, and sports heritage museums and shops where the exquisite local woodcraft is sold. Alternatively, guests can take a longer day-trip to New Norcia – home of the Benedictine Monastery, where monks sell freshly baked goods and olive oil which can be enjoyed whilst soaking in the beautiful Spanish architecture.
- Visit the world's longest freshwater pipeline at the Mundaring Weir Dam, which is perfect for a picnic or visit with family friends.
- Walk along the Bibbulmun Track or cycle the Munda Biddi Trail and enjoy the native wildflowers.
- Visit the John Forrest National Park (named after the explorer Sir John Forrest) and experience it's beautiful walk trail, which is dotted with granite outcrops and waterfalls.
- Camp, swim, cycle or bird watch at the pristine Lake Leschenaultia – a 168 hectare piece of bush land that offers a wonderful, relaxing experience for those wanting to get in touch with nature.
